Nowy samochód Straży Miejskiej

Wejherowska Straż Miejska ma nowy radiowóz - Forda Connect, który wyposażony i oznakowany patroluje już ulice Wejherowa.

Jak powiedział Zenon Hinca, komendant Straży Miejskiej w Wejherowie, nowy radiowóz przyczyni się do poprawy bezpieczeństwa i porządku w mieście.

- Potrzeba posiadania nowego samochodu była bardzo duża, poprzedni pojazd był już wyeksploatowany – mówi Zenon Hinca. – Rocznie przewozimy ok. 800 osób.

Wejherowska Straż Miejska posiada trzy radiowozy i quada. Jako jedna z nielicznych w Polsce straży, od 1 stycznia 1993 roku pracuje całodobowo.
Nowy radiowóz został poświęcony przez dziekana Dekanatu Wejherowskiego ks. prał. Tadeusza Reszkę.
