Ponad 160. metrowy odcinek ul. Matejki w dzielnicy Śmiechowo-Południe został utwardzony płytami YOMB na powierzchni ok. 940 metrów kwadratowych, co na pewno poprawi jakość komunikacji samochodowej na tej ulicy.

Prace na zlecenie miasta wykonała firma Usługi Budowlane i Transportowe – Ryszard Czepulonis. Jak poinformował podczas odbioru z-ca prezydenta Piotr Bochiński w przyszłym roku zostanie wykonana modernizacja chodnika w ul. Matejki i podczas tych prac zostanie uzupełniony fragment brakującej nawierzchni od strony ul. Sikorskiego.
