W Wejherowskim Centrum Kultury odbyły się w minionym tygodniu warsztaty plastyczne tworzenia medali olimpijskich, które zostały zrealizowane w ramach cyklu Olimpiada Sztuki i Sportu.

Młodzi uczestnicy w wieku od 10 do 14 lat uczyli się tworzenia medali inspirowani różnymi dyscyplinami olimpijskimi pod okiem Anety Fittkau. Przedmioty wykonywane były m.in. z modeliny i innych dostępnych materiałów. Pomysł na zorganizowanie warsztatów o tej tematyce motywowany był Olimpiadą w Paryżu i faktem ogłoszenia roku 2024 Rokiem Polskich Olimpijczyków.

Powstałe podczas warsztatów medale olimpijskie posłużą podczas małych olimpiad sportowych, realizowanych przez Wejherowskie Centrum Kultury podczas Retro Potańcówki Miejskiej.
